Positives for Daddio (2024): The central performances by Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn are very good

Well, I just finished watching this film and while it was an engaging experience for me, it also got a little boring at the same time. This is a film that rests on the shoulders of these two performances and if the performances don’t work, then the film doesn’t work.

Cons for Daddio (2024):
Despite being invested in the conversations between these two characters, it also got really boring really fast. The entire movie is just these two characters talking in a taxi for 90 minutes straight and there are a lot of people who will enjoy that premise, but there are also a lot of people who will be annoyed by it.

Overall, Daddio (2024) is a pretty good dialogue-driven movie with great acting from both of its leads and while it’s good, it’s a movie that will definitely test the audience’s ability to stay invested in the story
