The spirits of a deceased couple are haunted by an insufferable family who have moved into their house and hired an evil spirit to drive them away.. This is his favorite Michael Keaton movie.. Otho’s shoes when he spray paints the walls of the house change from goblin-looking red shoes to white shoes as he walks through the bathroom and then changes back to red goblin shoes as he enters the next room.. Adam : What are your qualifications?Beetlejuice: Ah. Well… I’m a graduate of Harvard Business School.
I travel quite a lot
I lived through the Black Death and had a pretty good time during it. I’ve seen the exorcist about a hundred and sixty seven times and it just keeps getting funnier every time I see it…not to mention the fact that you’re talking to a DEAD person…NOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING THINK? Do you think I’m qualified? The Geffen company logo is accompanied by a groovy version of the Banana Boat song (sung by the film’s composer Danny Elfman). A print of the film has surfaced with some added/alternate scenes. This version of the film is about 2 minutes shorter than the theatrical release, has some extra scenes and others missing, is in black and white, and has a timecode at the bottom.
Instead of a desert, he sees empty darkness filled with rolling wheels
This version has 4 major differences: Alternate Scene: The scene where Adam tries to leave the house after he and his wife die is different. Additional Scenes: There is an additional scene where Lydia develops the photos she took of Adam and Barbra. Then, after her mother yells at her and blames her for cutting holes in the sheets, Lydia runs upstairs and tries to convince her father that the pictures are real. There’s more to the scene where the adults are looking for the ghosts in the attic where we see the desert monster trying to eat Adam and Barbra as they hang from the attic window. Finally, there is an extra 2 minute scene at the end where we see Lydia cycling home from school and her parents talking to Jane on the phone telling her they don’t want to sell the house. Lydia’s dance scene is shorter in this version and there is no scene with Beetlejuice in the waiting room.

The film ends with a final exterior shot of the house. Day-OTraditional, lyrics by William A. Attaway & Irving Burgie[incorrectly credited as written by William A. Attaway & Irving Burgie (as Lord Burgess)] Performed by Harry Belafonte, courtesy of RCA Records. This is one of Tim Burton’s best movies. His sophomore effort tells the story of a married couple (the Maitlands ably played by Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) who accidentally fall to their deaths from a bridge and end up targeting an upper-class family (including a young but well-played Winona Ryder).

. ) and a strange but scary (mostly) ghost called Beetleguise (or Beetlejuice in a laugh scene) played with immense complexity by Michael Keaton. Sure this plot may sound a little anti-climactic, being mostly gags and not really a focused story, but so what? In a movie where you see sandworms from Saturn, shrimp that attach themselves after calypso, and a nut who has seen the exorcist for 167 times (insert quote here), why bother with a plot. Great fun every time I watch.
